2 problems, new to Volvo 200 1984

New to Volvo. I have a 84 240 with the following problems, with more to come!

Problem 1
Power windows routinely don’t work in the morning. Just when I am about to my job they start to work and work for the rest of the day. I have cleaned the switches as described in the forum and this has not helped. Any guesses?

Problem 2
Heater blower motor is not working. I have not put to much into this yet, only tested for power at the switch (getting 12v). Is there another step before testing power to blower fan? And is there an easy way to test power to fan? It seems like it might be hard to get to.
