OD Guru...Need help!! M46 with O/D leaking at cross threaded stud. 200 1983

Finally installed M46 tranny with redone OD (bought seals etc from ODGURU....great service and prices). One of the rear lower studs (the one that serves as the ground for the solenoid) was loose (the jiggle test proved it). When I used the old 2-nut method (NOT what you might think!!)to tighten it back into the housing,it gave slightly at the end of tightening. Being aware, I stopped torquing and removed the stud, added some blue LockTite and re-installed it. Tightened it up only a little tight.
Tomorrow I will know if the fix worked (by the size of the leak)
OD Guru, what can be done if the threads on the aluminum housing are toast? Should I use some RED loctite and really glue that stud in there?
Gracias,
el Raidman
