Hey! After a long time searching for those double sided bolts that attach the downpipe to the turbo in my 81 244glt, I finally found a solution. No, not the dealer who wanted $22 a piece for the studs, without the nuts; not FCP groton, who said they had them but when I ordered them they were too fat; but at my local NAPA parts place. Over in their hardware bins they have the studs, though they're not listed as 240 turbo exhaust studs, so I had to go through some trial and error. The part number is 86653 at NAPA; it might be different at a parts source near you. Measurements are 8mm x 38mm x 1.25 for the thread pitch. And they're steel! The only difference is these are a couple mm longer than stock, but they work just as well. And they're only $2 plus change each, and they've got the nuts there too. Just thought I'd post this for anyone who can't find a cheaper alternative to the dealer...I've been looking for months! Hope it helps!
