ICU Connector Sleeves 200

1988 240GL 230BF

I've been having intermittent ignition problems, and I've isolated the problem to the connection at the ICU. I've purchased the sleeves that Volvo put out to correct this frequent problem.

How do I install the sleeves to the connector pins on the ECU? Do they go slide all the way to the base of the pins, or should I just keep them on the tip of the pin?
