Aidan,

The only difference between the 058 and 059 caps is that the 058 has a relief to accommodate the washer at the condensor connection. Feel free to take a round file and make room for it, if the cap isn't seating firmly.

Sounds like you've got the SUs pretty well rounded up, so let's see if that helps.

Exactly which motor do you have? B18A, B18D, B20??? I wonder if those carbs have the correct needles for your particular motor after reconditioning. But let's come back to that if performance doesn't improve.
