R134a Conversion on 760T Similar, but not the same as 740 700 1989

I need help identifying a component of the AC 760T system. It is a black plastic object about 2 inches long and about 1 inch hex in cross section. This thing is in the line between the receiver and the firewall. Anyone know what this thing is?

I have converted an '87 740 to R134a using the Volvo Kit. However the '89 760T receiver dryer is different and has the above mentioned item attached to it. Is there a Vovo Kit specific for the '760? Anything special I need to be concerned about on the 760?

Thanks

Dan
