Transmission 900

I have an 1991 940 turbo wagon. I usually only drive my car on the weekend due to being in college. I was about to drive it this past weekend and out of the blue it will not shift out of first gear as soon as I started to drive it, Reverse works as well. The fluid is at the operation point. I just had it serviced about 4000 miles ago. The car has about 150,000 miles on it. I was hoping someone would have some things too look for or what it could possible be. If the transmission needs repairs how much should I look to spend, I have never needed a volvo transmission repair or replaced. The other problem is I am moving from Pa to Minnesota on the 21th, so now time is a huge factor. If anyone could be of help I would be greatfully thankful.
