Clutch Out of Adjustment or Wrong One?? 200

Mine is a 1990 245 Wagon with 184,000 miles. I just had the transmission in my car replaced. I also had the clutch, pressure plate, & throw out bearing replaced. On the old Clutch & Pressure Plate it was REALLY hard to poush to the floor. The clutch pedal was also about 4 inches further from the ground than the brake pedal. On the new clutch it is VERY easy to push. It does not seem to slip. I have had the car out on the road at 70 mph and it seems to run fine. There are a few areas I know a little about. Transmissions and Clutches - no idea. Is it normal for the clutch/pressure plate to be that different between the old and the new? BTW, I did use the Sachs kit from Groton. I was thinking maybe the person(s) before put in the wrong clutch/pressure plate. I have no idea(s).

Todd :-)
