"wide band" huh? not exactly sure what you mean by that. The difference between the two is just the addition of a heater, which is why the late ones have three wires instead of just one. It will allow your vehicle to go into closed loop operation faster than a single wire will but once both are warmed up they will cycle at about the same rate, 300 milliseconds or less.
