CLOCK ADJUSTMENT 700

My '89 740 had a similar problem but I was able to turn the clock hands by "lifting up" on the knurled stem at the same time that I turn it. I think that I push in, lift up and turn all at the same time and it seems to work. I guess that this helps to engage the little gears in there to move the hands. It has been like that for a long time and I still have to do that to move the hands on the clock. Give it a try.....
