1990 760 GLE - MFI Relay 700 1990

Hi all,

My car has developed a "Hot No Start" problem which I have narrowed down to a bad MFI relay. The 700 FAQ on this board says that the relay is permanently attached to the board. I assume I have to take the board off and desolder the thing out. Has anyone done this before? Please let me know how the relay board is removed. This is NOT the one behind the ashtray, but the one to the right hand side of the console, next to the left knee of the front passenger.

Thanks for all your advice.

Max
