I'm going to brag a little 200

1985 244GL B230F 4+OD 208,000 Miles All original drive train.

After the doing the following: Installing a new O2 Sensor, new plugs, setting the timing, new glass pack rear muffler, and the all the other work I have mentioned here in the past (electric fan, brakes, springs, gauges,...) I set up my GPS (to record actual distance traveled and real groundspeed) then I did a highway test run. I got 34.385 miles per gallon at 65mph, driving over 1200 miles over a 6 day period. I was also being real light with my foot and I didn't use the AC.

These are real numbers - no brickboard bragging. Can anyone else confirm similar numbers? Anyone else trying to sqeeze their brick for the big MPG?

I'm going to try to get even higher numbers with a few mods I have in mind.
