Driver Door mirror replacement 200 1990

I would recomend taking the door panel off. I pulled one off a wreck thinking I could figure out a way to replace the wifes with out removing the door panel...trashed the door panel on the wreck (mine and in bad shape to start with)

It could be done...maybe? much easier to just take the panel off...the "triangle" just clips on and is quite easy to remove then.
