Anyone swapped stock push in one temp A/C fan temp switch for VW lower temp switch? 700 1990

You know, the thermal push in switch that goes into the upper side of the radiator and activates the A/C fan. Volvo only makes one temperature switches for the push in type switch. I'd like to get a switch that activates the A/C fan at a much lower temperature, and have read previous posts that VW makes colder ones. Does anyone know the VW part number, or do you have any more info regarding this? Thanks,
Keith
