A/C compressor is engaged all of the time and doesn't cycle on and off 700 1990

Thank you, Rule 308 for responding. I am very ignorant when it comes to A/C and I do not know how to test the pressures, so I am thinking I might have to take it into an A/C shop for routine diagnosis. By the way, the fan was set to "3" out of 4, and car was idling in driveway. The real reason I was testing it today was to see if the "new" eBay A/C fan I installed would come on. It did when the antifreeze finally got really hot. So I was glad to see I got that fixed.
