I MADE IT! 140-160 1968

Ok, so it isn't that big of a deal, but i made it the ride home. Used less than half a tank to drive 110 miles(only 75 were on the way to school but 25 of the other miles were also highway miles). Averaged probably 65 miles an hour, with a couple bursts up to 85. QUITE A LOUD CAR, just the mixture of the "performance" exhaust dumping under the back seat, the loud engine, the engine fan, 3500-4200 rpms, wind, and yeah, kinda loud... Once, i pegged it when going 68 or 70 or so, and it backfired real loud and then went... Sure it scared a few people near me =) I really need to get rid of that DGV though, it has been extremely sensitive to air temperature. Like, it'll run fine in the city, but on the highway, it's a little colder in the engine bay, and it needs to be adjusted a little. On the highway if i gave it just the right amount of gas to cruise, it would pop and stutter just slightly, and hesitate, so whenever i needed to speed up or go up a hill, i'd need to give it quite a bit more gas to get it to run smoothly and accelerate. After the first 30 miles i got off the road and adjusted it a lil bit, but not quite enough i guess. Oh well, I really need to get those SUs on there!

...yeah, that's about it for now...
happy mothers day!
peace,
