Do I have to weld? Exhaust 700

Background to the problem:
Midas has made me quite mad. A year ago I had them replace
the rear muffler. They replaced it and half (YES HALF) an
axle pipe. The original half has now completely rusted out.
The rear muffler cost about 200 dollars. I brought it back to
midas for a quote and now 225 dollars to essential finish
the job they started a year ago. Frankly, I dont want to deal
with a shop at all.

I need to replace the axle pipe with a full 180 degree pipe
(not a 90 degree, stupid Midas) and a new front muffler
cause there is a rattle in it.

At FCPgroton, there is some excelent prices on exaust parts
and I was wondering if I could do the job myself, the only
problem is, I dont have a welder.

The way Im thinking, aslong as there is a protruding pipe
on the front muffler that I can easily clamp onto it. Im
just not sure, how the part comes.
Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly apreciated.
