Remote Oil Filter Install 200 1982

i've done a lot of searching here and on several web sites and have gotten almost all the information i need to buy the parts and do this install on my turbo. however the one thing i can't figure out is what length of steel braided hose should i get.

i'm planning to mount the remote filter up under the front right fender/wheel well.

i emailed one person and they couldn't remember what length they used "maybe 6'" after looking under there the other day, that seems like an awful lot of hose... no i did not get out anything that i could have measure with, (which proably was dumb).

so if anyone out there remembers or has recently done this and can give me some help in what length of hose i should get i would really appreciate it!
