1/8th inch hose off distributor connects where? 1800

Hi, I have a 1969 1800S which I've recently aquired. The engine is a B20, it has two single barrel strombergs. Now my question: There is a hose that measures about 1/8 inch ID and is about 24inches long, it is attached to a saucer like object mounted on the side of the distributor, where does the other end go? I've looked all over the carbs and the manifold and I've not found the nipple or whatever. Where does it go? And, what is it?, The car is running great. Please help. In advance, Thanks.
