check the wiring harness at the firewall and see if the insulation on the wires is crumbling off. if so that may be a problem. sometimes the bare wiring will touch another and cause a starting or running problem. you should not even have to touch your gas pedal to start a fuel injected car. also a dirty throttle body will cause a stall problem on your first initial start up. the flickering dash lights is also an indication of a bad wiring harness
