Fuel problem fixed, now I have no ignition signal to fire the pumps..... 200 1981

I thought I had this fixed, but apparently not. I got the fuel system working by happenstance, now my pumps won't fire, I assume because there's no ignition signal. I used a timing light to check for spark, and there's nothing coming out of the coil.

After I got the injectors working, I drove it Sat 30 miles or so, and Sunday I started it a couple of times, moved it once.

I washed it Sat. a.m. and it wouldn't start until I removed the distributor cap and dried things out a little, but then it ran for the next two days. I don't get it.

This new problem could be part of the bad wiring problem, I suppose, but previously I only had fuel delivery problems. Go figure. Where is the likely culprit?
