Brake conversion talk...again 140-160 1973

The 164 has vented rotors from 71/72 up. I remember going to a salvage
yard and pulling a 240 turbo front brake off and putting it on a 164 just
to see how things would line up and I decided that it was possible but
would require totally custom brake lines and a couple other somewhat smallish
details.

I decided that the brakes on my 70 164 were more than good enough.

I think several companies sell volvo brakes as "upgrades" to BMW and other
vintage car brake systems. Volvo brakes start out pretty darned good and
with the proper pads I think would be up to any task, but I also don't know
your specific needs.
