Water pump pulley hitting the timing belt cover 200

This is the second waterpump (first one I got from FCP, this one I got from AutoZone) that has done this. The first one I had to put a bunch of washers behind the waterpump pulled to shim it forward. Looks like I'll have to do the same to this one too because its hitting the timing mark tab on the lower timing belt cover making a racket like a cardboard hitting the bicycle spokes.

The pulley in question is the big big round pulley that fits over the waterpump and drives the V belts.

Anyone else experience it before ?
