Engine quit and idle stall when stop 900 1991

I brough a 940GLE two month ago,When I brough it,I found engine head and water pump area use red seal sealing not use gasket,th guy said it just fixed the valve and water pump.In that time I found the idle up and down from 600 rpm to
900rpm,when running a while ,the idle will from 750rpm to 850rpm.It look Ok.Last Sunday I fill up half tank regauler gas.The idle become uncontrolled.It
stall when stop or when you push transmission to " D " gear ,the idle will down to 200-300rpm or stop.I try to clean up throttle body and check air hose leck,
AMM and IAC ( idle air control ). No luck.To day I bring the car to a repair shop, They use two hours hav't find any problem.Any thing will cause that,Help!
Some oil leak from main head and water pump ,Is that is the problem?
