Linkage problem? (3 speed auto) 200 1978

A little while back, during what we call "mud season" up here, I got my brick stuck. Eventually rocked her loose, but now I've got some shifter oddness. First thing is, the shifter moves a little forward beyond Park. Next, when I depress the lockout button, it requires almost no pressure to pop her into Reverse. The shifter also won't move down to 1... and another disturbing thing, the lockout button only pops back up when she's in Park. That's abnormal, isn't it?

What'd I break, and how do I fix it?

Thanks,
Matt
