See if this rings a bell 200 1982

There is a bundle of wires that run from alternator side of bay over alternator then down under the main pulley and then up in between ac pump and engine. 1 of them is a thick main power line from alternator possibly to starter/battery/distrib. then a few are run to control module on washer fluid tank. There were two wires that ran from starter/battery side over to i believe connecting to tabs on alternator next to main power line. They are 2 bare wires (due to oil breakdown of covers) that hadnt been connected since ive had car for 3 months. Do those wires run from ac pump? If so id love to yank em out.
