I don't know how this Volvo thing started. Had a PV504 in my youth that I gave every effort to destroy as a newly licensed driver (thought it was my duty then) and had NO thoughts of anything Volvo until recently. My first acquisition was 945Ti which turns out to be just to pristine and mint for me to actually drive so it's up for sale. In the interim, I've recently purchased a '93 245 and a '90 245 just by leaving notes on the windshield, and for a month now, I've been stalking a guy who will eventually sell me his 245 of unknown vintage (evil grin :] Now, the neighbors are starting to ask "why all the Volvos"? Good question! I wonder myself. My partner shakes his head in disbelief knowing that to try to stop me is insanity and futile - I can't seem to stop myself!
Now tonight, I put a note on an old 242 that I've spied for weeks now, vowing that I would not even think about purchasing. No idea what year it is, has 4 headlights, 2 doors and a strange periwinkle blue color with stick shift. Why would I even do that? There's got to be some help for a guy like me. God help me! It just can't go on like this. I've got 13 cars as it is and only 3 are Volvos.
Desperately,
