Value for an '87 760T w/intercooler 700 1987

So my buddy has fixed up a 760T wagon (new headliner, wiring harness, AC repair, thorough intake cleaning, interior detailed, ACC check, etc., etc. ... everything works). He's a mechanic and a friend so I believe everything has been repaired very well.

I'm considering buying it from him...

but I need help coming up with a value for it...

I want a god deal and I also want to help him make a profit, weird eh? maybe impossible?

considering the situation what would you guys say is a fair value for such a vehicle?

(has the normal dings here and there but no rust)

let me know what kind of information you would need to give me a price value if I haven't given it here.

thanks,

jack

p.s. - I would have fixed something up myself but I'm already trying to get time to fix my 245 with the broken timing belt, one of the reasons I need another vehicle.
