It's like stepping on a brick. 900

Has anyone noticed that the gas pedal on these cars tend to be a bit on the heavy side? To me it seems excessively heavy (at least compared to other cars) and that when driving for a while in heavy rush hour traffic, my knee starts to hurt and I get what feels like a pinched nerve where my leg meets my ass. Is there any remedy to this? It's really starting to make the car unpleasant.
