Check the compression. If it is high (>180 lbs), there is probably carbon build-up in the head. This requires removing the head and scrapping the carbon away to fix the problem. Or, try, at your own risk, the water injection method detailed in the 700-900 FAQ. In the mean time, giving the timing 4 degrees more advance will help the acceleration. jp
