General Failure of Cooling System?? Diagnosis Needed! 900 1994

Can anyone explain this for me?

Several months ago the warning light for the cooling system came on. I check the coolant level, and the just under the MIN. mark. I addad water without concerning. A couple weeks ago, I went underneath for the oil chenge and then discovered the coolant residues at almost all junctions. It leaked from rad upper /lower hose, oil cooler, water pump, etc. I check the coolant level and it hasn't lost it's volume, so it hasn't been leaking aftre I added some water. I checked the hoses and they look very fresh. They seem to be replaced at 90K (I got the car right after the dealer maintenance).

Can someone tell me what happen? Is this common? I know I have to replace the water pumps (it's over 100K), but not sure about replacing the hoses. Should I?
