My new 1988 780 sunroof leaks a little bit. On both sides. I have asked around and was told that the dealer is the only place to get it fixed. I don't like dealers, besides they charge $100/hour and replace everything with new instead of reparing it.
Is there a tutorial which explains in detail how to remove, adjust a sunroof? It doesn't close properly, the back end doesn't pop all the way up to the roof line and the front is above the roof about 1/4 inch. Probably also needs a new gasket. The Haynes repair manual say don't touch it!
If there is someone who could give me hands on advice in the Twin Cities area, I would really appreciate it.
