Hey Klaus!

The problem with the FAQs is that they don't apply to the 780 since it is a moonroof.

I can't help much but will tell you what I know. There are two torx screws (but an allen will fit) on each side that adjust the height. Pull the cover back from the inside. With the sunroof closed you can see the screws to the left and right. There is a cutout in the metal at each point. Loosen them and the sunroof can be pushed up or down. When you get it where you want it, tighten them back up.

As for the gasket, I would recommend you take it to a good independent body shop. The panel must be pulled out to do the job. That's where I had mine done and it got rid of that characteristic 780 wind noise. Now I can ride with the cover open and it is nice and quiet. I hope that helps.
