Inner ZF tie rod - IPD or FCP??? 200

I visually inspected three different tie rods when I replaced the right side on my 81 Cam Gear rack: Meyle, and two different versions of TRW/Moog. The best by far was the TRW/Moog I bought from Swedish Engineering. It was finely finished, with nice polished steel like the one I removed from the car. The Meyle, and the other TRW/Moog (from CarQuest) both appeared to be lower quality. The finish was nowhere near as high quality on those two. Before this experience I did not know that TRW/Moog produced or sold two quality levels of the same part. The aftermarket parts business is full of surprises. Ask for details and prices. Don't assume IPD's is any better than Groton's. I've seen the exact same parts for wildly different prices. Good luck.
