Oil On Driveway Cleanup

My 86 240 was leaking oil. I have two spots on my asphalt driveway I need to clean uup. One spot is close to desirable plant life. Any suggestions on taking care of this would be appreciated. I have repeatedly used "floor absorbant" like the gas stations use. I work it in by placing a piece of cardboard over it and working it around with my feet, but it has not done the job.

I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
