All gears but reverse on AW 70 900 1991

Had 1991 940 tranny rebuilt (200,000 miles) a little over a year ago (10,000 miles). Have all gears but reverse as of yesterday. Crawling under car don't see anything obvious, such as loose linkage.

Misread dip stick a couple of weeks ago and overfilled. Noticed overfill, so drained out some fluid. Would this have any consequences?
