engine swap time 700 1987

Hi all,

My turbo took a dump on my 87 740ti w/357,000 miles on it. I have an opportunity to by a 91 940se turbo motor and aw71 trans with 80,000 mile on both
(from same car). Is there anything I need to know to put the 91 motor and trans in my 87 740. or will it be an easy swap. (is anything easy?). the reason I would do this is because of what it could potentially cost to just put a rebuilt turbo on my high mileage car. any and all input from all of the gurus on this board will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

87 740ti, stealth black, k&n filter, mille miglia 16 in. wheels, 225/50/16 dunlop fm1 tires. sport exhaust, IPD sway bars & lowering springs, poly bushings, way to much boost. (wifemobile is a 94 T-Bird).
