Nice 200 1986

To this point, I've done all the work on the car. Which isn't really saying much. My dad took his truck to a local, independent oil change place and saw that wagon sitting in a far bay, covered with dust. He made a comment to the technician about it, and the technician said it belonged to the shop owner and could be had for cheap. My dad went back during lunch and gave the guy $500 for it, not running. It was towed to my parents' house, and my dad pushed it in the garage. He called me and said that I had a project to complete over Christmas break- make the car run. It was a pretty easy task, considering that someone had put the wire from the fuel pump relay to the ignition coil on the positive pole instead of the negative pole. I switched the wire, turned the key, and my dad has been driving it ever since.

It is a gorgeous specimen. My parents live in the south, and it is 100% rust free.

Take care,
Keith
