My son, Evan, was looking for something to do today. He built a lower chassis brace for 240 series cars using our 1983 244 as a template. Once the chassis brace was complete, he built a fixture from it. The finished chassis brace is shown on our 1984 244. I may make a few for friends using one diagonal bar. Material is 9/16" cold rold steel.
