Door Handle Lubrication? 900 1993

Dear Chris,

May this find you well. If WD-40 works well, albeit temporarily, then you're getting the lubricant to where it is needed.

I'd suggest using a product called "Break-Free". It has a certain amount of Teflon in it and has a heavier "body" than WD-40, so it will cling and so last longer.

I have some teflon in aerosol form, but I bought it years ago, and do not know if it is still made/sold. If you can find teflon in an aerosol, that would be even better, as Teflon does not attract/hold grit, as do petroleum-based lubricants.

Hope this helps.

Yours faithfully,

spook
