245 Body Repair 200 1988

A lady in a Tahoe recently backed into my rear door in a parking lot. Luckily, only the door was hit, and not the guarter panel. I have been advised that there are two ways to fix this: replace the door with a clean used one OR put a new skin (outer piece of metal) on the existing door. I am leaning toward the used door because I am afraid that putting on a new skin is running a high risk of future rust. I actually found a clean used door that is the same color as the car. Any suggestions as to which is the better option? Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
