HI: I have a 88 740 GLE Wagon with 144,000 miles on it and just found out I need to have the head gasket replaced. I live in the South New Jersey area. Do any of you out there know about how much it would cost me to have this done at a fair price. The Book value is $1700.00 . I love the car because I am disabled and can get in it without much of a problem. Do you know of a good repair shop in my area? I have heard of a place called P & Q import car repairs in Blackwood New Jersey but I don't know if they are any good or not. This will be my first time on the hook in my 52 years and this is depressing me. Please help, Thanks, Dan.
