Weird Hood Problem?!? 700 1990

90 760T Sedan

Several months back I noticed that my hood seemed to be "binding" when initially releasing the latch and then upon opening I realized that the passenger side articulation was not extending the same as the right. Tried some adjusting of the support brackets to no avail. Hood scrapes the wipers ever so slightly when opening.

Long story short, the rear corner of the passenger side "dug" into the very bottom corner of my windshield and broke it yesterday!!

It appears that the passenger side articulating arm assembly may be partially seized or binding. Is anyone familiar with this problem. Thanks a bunch in advance.
