What next for my suspension? 200 1989

I share the desire of many of you: I want my Brick to be a better car. I really want to go for the performance stuff, but I know that the most satisfaction will probably come out of a better-handling car, as there isn't much that one can do to a stock B230F to really make it scream.

Last summer I bought ipd's 25/22mm swaybars and got them installed on my car, as per Brickboard suggestions. I was extremely satisfied with the improvement in driveability. At that time, I believe the mechanic who did the work also switched out the old sway bar end link grommets with the supplied ipd blue polyurethane grommets. Now I need to figure out what to get next.

I would guess the original suspension bushings are in my car. I have noticed no "tracking" problems, but I would guess that they eventually need to be replaced. The question, though, is, should I do this before or after the purchase of shocks?

Because I only believe in putting the best in my car, I hope to get the Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks and struts (although if a good enough argument were made, I might consider the high-end Koni ones). Would it be okay to put the Bilstein HDs on my car without changing the bushings, or is that a "bad idea"?

Lastly, what's up with ipd's prices? The Bilstein HD shock package on this page is listed for $453.90, but if the appropriate parts are purchased individually from this page, the total comes to $430.02, as well as being a bit heavier (both prices exclude shipping, AFAIK). Am I looking at the wrong parts on the second page, or are the prices just off? Does something "extra" come with the shock packages?
