Remvoing left kick panel 700 1989

Sorry if this is a double post- the first one didn't come up.

I need to remove the center console's left kick panel to get into the A/C air control system (hot air on acceleration). All the how-to's say "remove panel" without describing how. Where can I go to learn how to properly remove the panel? Thanks
