Should I fix this car??? 700

Hi everyone!

I've got a 1990 745 Turbo with 341,000kms on it. It needs some work: new windshield, center bearing, my AC doesn't work and my turbo doesn't produce any boost. I brought my car to the dealership because it wouldn't start anymore. They've diagnosed it to a bad relay and an ECU that's finished. Up to this point my gas concumption has been terrible (averaging 20 litres/100 km). Would changing the ECU help my gas mileage? Should I just move on to another Volvo? BTW: The dealership found a good used ECU that they could install in the car witch would cost me (including the relay and the software update) 600$.
