M47 Production Year Plate? 200 1987

My '87 245 M47, the odometer reads 236k miles.

I'm curious to know if there is a date stamp printed on the M47 tranny. I'm thinking that it may have been replaced at some point by the previous owner since it shifts nicely and doesn't leak at all.

So, any way of knowing what year it was manufactured?
