Boge/Sachs Struts & Shocks 900

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

May this find you well. I've read through threads on the merits/demerits of various makes/types of struts and shocks.

If a Boge product says "Made in Germany", is it in fact a "Sachs" product? As Boge and Sachs products are made by the same firm, is there any difference between a product with one name on the box, and a similar product with the other name on the box?

Once out of the box, are there labels that specify the type (e.g., Gas, Turbogas, etc.) or is are they to be separated - one from the other - by color, etc.

For a 1993 or 1994 940, NA, where it is desired to have a pretty much stock ride (I usually don't carry superheavy loads), which type (within the Boge or Sachs universe) is most likely to replicate the factory-original items?

Thanks for your help. I'm much obliged.

Yours faithfully,

spook
