1st of all, what does this actually do that a magnetic drain plug or the IPD filter magnet does't do ? Plus the fact that there is an extra seal joint to potentially leak . The 64K$ question boils down to this : If I continue to change my oil ( Quaker State 10-40 ) & filter ( Mann ,Volvo's OEM ) every three months using the magnetic IPD drain plug WITHOUT using this Magnefine filter what is the worst that could happen to my car ? ( '82 244 with 161K+ miles )
