What's going on with my 240 No start-AGAIN??????????? 200 1991

I will be doing EXTENSIVE checks to the entire ignition system and cleaning /inspecting the IAC today so I'll be able to more accurately describe behavior. Another item of note: I consulted a friend who was a Volvo tech for 5-6yrs and the first thing he mentioned was the Crank Position Sensor. This would describe the conditions I have been experiencing-rough idle and rich running/ no start conditions. I got this info before I checked the post by VOLVOLINA. Thanks for the info. If this is the culprit, I will be sure to post follow-up so that others may benefit from my misfortune. Thanks for the help.
